As SI gains another year of nationhood, my staff and I, and our families extend our sincere best wishes to everyone.
We acknowledge and give thanks to our Sovereign God for his mercy and grace. Coming this far has not been easy and it will not be easy in the days ahead. Global and local injunctions will increase.
However, as the primary government agency for building and fostering peace, my ministry fully supports the theme “Unity and Stability for Transformation and Prosperity.” It appropriately describes the basis for peacebuilding and Statebuilding through unity and stability.
My ministry will continue to partner with all agencies, stakeholders and communities to ensure Community Governance and Stewardship bears forth the unity and stability for transformation and prosperity.
We are ever thankful for our forbears and their sacrifice to get us to where we are. We stand united with everyone in the days of sacrifice ahead.
With our vision of “Unity, Peace, Prosperity and Resilience”, let us join hands together as one people, one country and one future. May we continue to remain loyal and committed to our leadership and servitude, and may love, peace and joy of the Prince of Peace –Jesus Christ – fill our hearts as we celebrate.
