On the joyous occasion of our nation’s 47th Independence Anniversary, the Ministry of Police, National Security and Correctional Services extends its warmest greetings and best wishes to the people of Solomon Islands.

This important milestone marks not only our journey as an independent nation but also celebrates the strength, resilience, and unity of our people. It is a time to reflect on our progress and to renew our shared commitment to peace, nation-building, and inclusive development.
The theme for this year’s celebration— “Unity and Stability for Transformation and Prosperity”—speaks directly to the core mandate of our Ministry. A united and stable society is the foundation upon which we can build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Solomon Islands.
As we commemorate this special day, let us stand together in purpose and spirit. Let us each play our part in fostering peace, upholding the rule of law, and working collectively towards the transformation and progress of our beloved country.
