A half-day session representing five main denom-inations in the Solomon Islands with a themed “Orientation to the Faith for Life Handbook: Pro-moting Health and Well-being through Faith-based Actions”, was successfully held in Honiara on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
The session was facilitated by Zohra Nisar Hunzai, UNICEF Social & Behaviour Change Specialist and coordinated by ADRA Solomon Islands was held at the ADRA Conference Room in Kukum, Central Honiara.
The workshop was funded by UNICEF and coor-dinated by ADRA Solomon Islands that aimed to equip church leaders with knowledge and strate-gies to promote health and well-being through faith-based initiatives.
A total of 15 participants attended the workshop, representing the following denominations: Seventh -day Adventist (SDA), United Church, Roman
