The Solomon Islands Rugby Union Federation (SIRUF) today received a generous donation of 50 rugby balls from GeoGas Solomon Ltd to support the upcoming High School Girls 7s Competition.

The donation was officially handed over to SIRUF Honiara Development Officer, Ms. Sarah Buka, who received the support on behalf of participating schools, witnessed by school reps.

The timely contribution comes as schools in Honiara prepare for the competition, scheduled for 24th โ€“25th September 2025. The rugby balls will be distributed among the participating schools, providing much-needed resources for training sessions in the lead-up to game day.

SIRUF Development Officer, Ms. Buka, thanked GeoGas Solomon Ltd for their support:
โ€œThis donation will really help the girls in the coming days as they prepare for the competition, and also continue to support them even after the competition ends.โ€
