U.S. South Pacific Scholarship Program (USSP) is now open!

The application for the U.S. South Pacific Scholarship Program (USSP) is now open! This prestigious program provides fully-funded undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa to students from 11 Pacific Island countries.

Eligibility:

• Citizens of Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, or Vanuatu.

• Completed secondary school for undergraduate applicants or have a bachelor’s degree for master’s applicants.

• Strong academic record and demonstrated leadership potential

Commitment to returning to your home country and contributing to its development.

Fields of study:

• Priority areas include agriculture, business, communication/journalism, education, environmental studies, gender studies, NGO management, political science, public administration, public health, STEM fields, and other related fields.

• Support is not available for professional degrees such as architecture, law, and medicine.
