Australia has proudly celebrated the graduation of 53 men and women who have completed their Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) qualifications at the Solomon Islands National University (SINU).
This milestone marks a significant achievement for the students, who have been supported through three vital programs: Project Management, Solar Systems Design and Maintenance, and Quantity Surveying. These programs were made possible through the Australia-funded Solomon Islands Infrastructure Program.
The graduates represent a growing force of skilled professionals who are helping to shape the future of the Solomon Islands. The partnership between Australia and the Solomon Islands, under the SIAusPartnership, highlights the ongoing commitment to investing in the country’s human resources. These efforts are focused on building a stronger, more sustainable workforce that will contribute to the development of the nation’s infrastructure, economy, and communities.
With these qualifications, the graduates are prepared to contribute to key industries, including sustainable energy solutions, infrastructure development, and project management. The ceremony marks not only a personal achievement for each graduate but also a vital step toward a brighter future for the Solomon Islands, supported by Australia.
