Parliament Passes the 2025 Appropriation Bill 2024


The National Parliament of Solomon Islands has successfully passed the 2025 Appropriation Bill 2024 after thorough deliberations in the Committee of Supply and a final reading, which included amendments.

The Bill, now approved, authorizes a total expenditure of SBD 4,832,273,739 for the government’s operations and services in the fiscal year 2025.

This allocation is intended to fund various government activities, including key public services, infrastructure projects, and the ongoing operations of government ministries.
