An undersea earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred at 5:21am this morning near Latitude 6.78 Degrees South, Longitude 154.8 Degrees East. This is located approximately 97 km northwest of Mono Island, Western Province.
THERE IS NO TSUNAMI THREAT TO THE SOLOMON ISLANDS.
