SPC Director General Dr. Stuart Minchin paid a courtesy call to the Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, Honorable Jeremiah Manele, during the Honiara Summit.
DG Minchin extended his congratulations to the Government and people of Solomon Islands for hosting this important event.
He also took the opportunity to update Prime Minister Manele on key SPC initiatives that support Solomon Islands’ priorities, related fisheries and ocean, food security, youth engagement, and economic development, while discussing ways SPC can continue to support the country’s efforts in these areas.
