In a significant move to boost digital connectivity across the Solomon Islands, Solomon Telekom Company Limited (Our Telekom) has signed a commercial agreement with Solomon Tower Limited (STL). The agreement was formalized on Friday, April 11, at STL’s office in Honiara, with Our Telekom’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Robertson Szetu, and STL Board Chairman, Mr. McKinnie Dentana, officiating the signing.
Effective from March 2024 and set for renewal every three years, the agreement establishes a revenue-sharing partnership for the use of STL’s national telecommunications tower infrastructure. These towers are now integrated with Our Telekom’s mobile core platform, marking a key step forward in strengthening public-private collaboration and expanding mobile network access across the country.

The event was witnessed by several high-profile officials, including the Minister of Finance, Hon. Manasseh Sogavare, Permanent Secretary for Communication and Aviation, Mr. Alwyn Danitofea, and Our Telekom’s Head of Legal, Mr. Wickly Faga.
This partnership highlights both organizations’ shared commitment to fostering digital transformation and delivering long-term benefits to the Solomon Islands’ government and citizens.
