Four female aged care workers have departed for Australia as part of the ongoing Age Care Expansion (ACE) program. The group is headed to work with Health Plus People, a healthcare and aged care recruitment company based in Hervey Bay, Queensland.
The workers are employed under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) long-term scheme, which offers a four-year contract. After completing their in-country training with Equinox College and awaiting placement, the women expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to begin their new roles abroad.
This latest deployment highlights continued success in the ACE program, supporting skilled employment pathways while contributing to Australia’s growing aged care sector.
