The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), through its Demand Generation for Immunisation Project (DGIP) has successfully completed a one-day micro-planning meeting in Munda, Western Province.
The meeting was held at Qua Roviana Meeting Room on Wednesday, 21 May 2025, between ADRA Immunisation Project Team, Two Doctors, Nursing Director from Helena Goldie Hospital (HGH) and Two Health Champions from Roviana Lagoon.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss an overview of the DGIP project goals, community coverage in Zone 3, existing activities, and the challenges faced in the area. Patteson Seama, ADRA DGIP Coordinator, stated that the micro-planning activity fostered a strong sense of teamwork among participants.
βIt has created a shared feeling of responsibility among the team to bring essential services to the communitiesβ
βThis includes immunisation awareness and integrated clinical satellite activities,β he said.
Senior Nurse Raymond Zoni of Helena Goldie Hospital shared his appreciation for the program. βIβm so happy to be part of this micro-planning programββ
βI believe the time has come for the people of Roviana Lagoon to receive these essential services right at their village doors,β he said.
