This year, International Education Day will be celebrated on 13th February 2025 with the theme โAI and Education: Opportunities and Challengesโ.
The International Education Day falls on 24th January 2025 but the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development (MEHRD) and identified stakeholders and partners have postponed it to allow schools to settle down as the academy year just begin on 20th January 2025.
The theme highlights the dynamic interplay between AI and education focusing specifically on its challenges and opportunities in the education sector and do we navigate to benefit learning.
Key stakeholders, education partners, institutions, Woodford International and Women in Information Communication Technology will be sharing initiatives and information around the theme.
The highlights of the event will be panel discussions, presentations, educational stalls and demonstration from stakeholders who already have initiatives on AI and Education.
