Construction on the Bira and Su’u Harbour Bridges in West Kwaio, Malaita Province, continues to progress well under the Solomon Islands Roads and Aviation Project 2 (SIRAP2).
A recent visit by the SIRAP2 International Project Manager confirmed that both sites are advancing steadily, with visible improvements on the ground. The inspection marks a positive milestone as efforts to improve rural connectivity and infrastructure in the region move forward.
Once completed, the bridges will provide safer, more reliable access for surrounding communities and support economic growth and mobility in West Kwaio.
