The Solomon Islands Australia Alumni Association (SIAAA) has significantly bolstered the efforts of the Naha Community with the generous support of Australia by providing essential cleanup tools.
Naha community chairman Robert Pisu said, “these tools will significantly aid the community’s ongoing efforts to maintain a clean and healthy environment.”
This contribution includes grass cutters, wheelbarrows, machetes, rakes, and spades, all of which are vital for maintaining a clean and healthy environment. The grass cutters and machetes will help manage overgrown vegetation, while the wheelbarrows and rakes will facilitate the efficient collection and transportation of debris.
The spades will aid in more precise ground work, making it easier to maintain public spaces and manage waste. By equipping the community with these tools, SIAAA and Australia are empowering Naha residents to take an active role in their environmental stewardship, thereby fostering a cleaner, more sustainable living environment.
Australia is proud to support Australia Global Alumni in making a positive change for their communities and the country.
