Honiara, Solomon Islands — The second round of group matches at the OFC U-16 Men’s Championship 2025 has produced goals, drama, and the first team confirmed for the semi-finals.
In Pool A, Fiji powered past the Cook Islands with a convincing 5-0 victory, securing their place in the semi-finals, the first side to book a spot in the knockout stage. Later, Papua New Guinea turned on the style in the second half, running away with a 6-1 win over Tahiti to stay in the hunt.
Over in Pool B, the Solomon Islands thrilled the home crowd with a commanding 4-0 win over Samoa, maintaining their momentum in the competition. Meanwhile, New Zealand and New Caledonia battled to a hard-fought draw, leaving everything to play for in the final round of group matches.
