Progress continues on the Su’u and Bira Bridge project, with concrete pouring officially underway for the piling works on Section B (the north side of the bridge) as of yesterday. This marks a major milestone in the bridge’s construction and signals steady advancement despite challenging weather conditions.

Local workers are gaining valuable on-the-job experience through active participation in the works, guided closely by engineers from the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC). This collaborative effort not only supports infrastructure development but also builds local capacity in bridge construction and engineering.

Although recent heavy rainfall has posed logistical challenges, the team remains committed, and work is moving forward steadily. The project is a testament to resilience, teamwork, and progress, promising improved connectivity for surrounding communities upon completion.
