On May 30, 2025, in Hanoi, SI Group officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Solomon Islands, affirming its role as the strategic advisor and priority investor in the development and global promotion of the country’s first Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

As a next-generation SEZ model, integrating multiple sectors from agriculture, logistics, finance, tourism to healthcare, the project is expected to drive sustainable transformation for the local economy while unlocking significant investment opportunities across the South Pacific region.

“We see this SEZ as the nucleus of our national globalization and modernization strategy,” said Hon. Jaimie Lency Vokia, Minister of Commerce of Solomon Islands, during the signing ceremony.
Joining SI Group in this pioneering effort is GrowMax, a leading Vietnamese investor in high-tech aquaculture, who will implement key operational components in the project’s initial phase.

This milestone marks more than an international collaboration. It is a powerful declaration: Vietnamese enterprises are ready to co-create next-generation international development models.
