This is to inform all vehicle owners and/or mechanics responsible for derelict vehicles located along Koa Hill, Skyline, and Mbokonavera (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) that authorised Council officers will begin inspections and issuing notices starting Monday, 3 March 2025.
When approached or requested by authorised officers, vehicle owners and/or mechanics are required to provide their full name, address, and contact details.
Please note that following the expiration of the voluntary removal notice for derelict vehicles, the Council will now proceed with formal notice issuance to those responsible. This will initiate the necessary legal procedures for prosecuting identified offenders in accordance with the relevant ordinances.
The Council will prioritise the immediate prosecution of individuals responsible for or liable for derelict vehicles and will proceed with the removal of all such vehicles from the main access roads, as outlined in the attached map:
