National Trade Fair Preparations in full swing

The National Trade Fair Committee is pleased to announce that preparations for the 2025 Annual National Trade Fair are in full swing, under the theme: “Trade for Transformation – Rebuilding our Happy Isles”. This year’s event is scheduled to take place from 30th June to 7th July 2025 at FOPA Village, SINU.

This much-anticipated annual event will showcase the vibrancy of Solomon Islands’ local industries, featuring products and services from across the country, alongside cultural performances, competitions, and business networking opportunities.

To ensure smooth and efficient coordination, the Committee has established five dedicated sub-committees, each tasked with a key area of preparation. These included the;

1. Grounds Committee – Overseeing site preparation, logistics, and overall venue readiness.

2. Trade Exhibition Committee – Coordinating stalls, product displays, and vendor registration.

3. Competition and Entertainment Committee – Managing cultural programs, talent shows, and industry/agriculture/school/public competitions.

4. Administration Committee – Handling general operations, protocols, and financial management.

5. Media and Communications Committee – Promoting the event through public awareness, media relations, and live coverage.

Chairman Mr. Moses Waririu, of the National Trade Fair Committee, stated, “This year’s event is expected to be one of the most inclusive and dynamic trade fairs to date. We are committed to promoting local entrepreneurship, innovation, and diverse hospitality while creating meaningful linkages between producers and markets.”

Entities interested in showcasing their products are encouraged to visit the Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Labour & Immigration (MCILI) Marketing Division to register spaces for the following fees:

Leaf Hut – $5,000
