The Guadalcanal Provincial Government has released a statement this evening addressing that public vehicles operating in the province do not have to remove tints on their vehicle.
In a statement on its Facebook page, GP wrote: “Due to the ongoing Honiara City Council (HCC) regulations on tinted public vehicles, we have received several inquiries regarding tinted windows on public transport vehicles.
“We would like to clarify that this regulation applies only to vehicles under the jurisdiction of the HCC and not to those within Guadalcanal Province.
We hope this clarifies the matter for all public vehicle owners within Guadalcanal Province.
Please adhere to all traffic regulations and drive safe out there during this festive season,” the statement concluded.
