𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Provincial Fiscal Grant Coordinating Committee (PFGCC) held its two-day annual event with officials from the Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening (MPGIS) under the Provincial Governance Strengthening Programme (PGSP), starting this morning.

The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Margaret Moveni, Deputy Secretary Corporate for the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, at the Guadalcanal Provincial Assembly Chamber.

In her brief remarks, the Deputy Secretary emphasized the importance of the two-day meeting and urged the provincial secretaries to strive for good governance practices under the Provincial Capacity Development Fund (PCDF).

The PFGCC consists of all nine provincial secretaries and deputy secretaries from several ministries.

The purpose of the meeting is to review the PGSP assessment reports for 2022-2023 in preparation for the Joint Oversight Committee meeting next week at the Guadalcanal Provincial Headquarter.
