ACoM DONATES FOOD TO PORT VILA CENTRAL HOSPITAL

The Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACoM) made a heartfelt donation of food items to the Port Vila Central Hospital yesterday afternoon.

Bishop of the Diocese of Vanuatu and New Caledonia the  Right Rev James Tama, Peter Pitia  Chief Operating Officer from ACoM office in Solomon Islands, Senior Operations Officer here in ACoM Vanuatu Mr. John Siba and other ACoM staff do the handing over yesterday afternoon to a dedicated staff at the hospital kitchen.

During the handover, Bishop Tama expressed gratitude for the tireless efforts of the hospital staff, stating, “We believe that through this small donation, we hope it will make some difference to our sick people.”
A spokes person Speaking on behalf of the hospital management echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the encouragement provided by ACoM and urging continued prayers for the doctors, nurses, and patients.

Following the hospital visit, Bishop Tama and his team also delivered food items to the Melanesian Brotherhood household in Teuma, Port Vila, assessing damage to the community’s dining hall.
The day concluded with further donations to families of clergymen at Tagabe Parish, underscoring ACoM’s commitment to supporting it’s clergy in Port Vila.
