The 2025 Miss Pacific Islands Pageant will take place in Honiara, Solomon Islands, in the first week of February, featuring seven contestants from across the Pacific.
This year’s pageant will see representatives from seven nations:
the Solomon Islands,

American Samoa,

Kiribati,

Papua New Guinea,

Samoa,

Tonga,

and Nauru.

Contestants include Miss Elsie Polosovai (Solomon Islands), Miss Pauliana Felise-Vitale (American Samoa), Miss Kimberly Tokanang (Kiribati), Miss May Torowi Hasola (Papua New Guinea), Miss Litara Ieremia-Allan (Samoa), Miss Racheal Gittenbeil (Tonga), and Miss Charlei Andrianna Deiye (Nauru).
The islands of Fiji, Vanuatu, Tahiti, Cook Islands, Hawaii, Guam, and the Marshall Islands are not fielding any participants for this year’s Miss Pacific Islands Pageant.

The reigning Miss Pacific Islands is Moemoana Safa’atoa’a Schwenke from Samoa. While the Solomon Islands has yet to win the crown, they came close in 2019 when Gladys Habu finished as the runner-up in Papua New Guinea. This will be the second time the Solomon Islands hosts the event, the first being in 2013 when Miss Cook Islands, Teuira Napa, won the crown.
Established in 1987 by the Samoan government, the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant (originally called the Miss South Pacific Pageant) was created to celebrate the intelligence, talent, and contributions of Pacific Island women.
The first event, held in Samoa, crowned Miss American Samoa, Juliet Spencer. The pageant remained open to South Pacific Islanders living abroad until 2000.
