The Media Association of Solomon Islands (MASI) has officially launched its new office space, made possible through the support of the Solomon Islands-Australian Media Sector Partnership.

During the launch event, which took place on Wednesday, 12 February 2025, Australian High Commission Political Counselor, Cameron Darragh, highlighted Australia’s strong and long-standing relationship with the Solomon Islands media sector. He expressed the significance of this partnership in supporting the growth and development of the local media landscape.

MASI President, Ofani Eremae, also spoke at the event, emphasizing the importance of the new office space. He noted that the facility would play a crucial role in supporting the work of MASI members and advancing the association’s broader objectives.

The launch marks a significant milestone for MASI as it continues to strengthen its role in the Solomon Islands media sector.
