Honiara, June 25– The Honiara Council of Women celebrated the first anniversary of its revival with a vibrant event that highlighted its efforts in promoting women’s empowerment and community development over the past year.
The Chinese Embassy in Solomon Islands joined the celebration, underscoring its continued support for gender equality and social progress in the country. A key highlight of the event was the awarding of certificates to participants of the Training Course on Garment Design and Manufacturing for Developing Countries, who successfully completed the program in China.
