This week, he handed over essential football kits and balls, demonstrating the government’s commitment to the growth of football in the country.
The gesture comes at an important time, as the team prepares for their other matches in their campaign in the tournament. Unfortunately, the team lost their first match against Papua New Guinea, but they are hoping to come back stronger.
Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) CEO, Leonard Paia, gratefully acknowledged the Prime Minister’s contribution, recognizing it as a timely boost for the team’s morale and performance.
