Hantanga Futsal League Ends, Encourages Youth Through Sport

The 2025 Hantanga Futsal League officially concluded all its matches on June 18, marking the end of an exciting and competitive season. The final games were important in determining the top positions on the league table, including qualifications for the semi-finals and the selection of the best two teams who will advance to compete in the prestigious SIFF Super Futsal League.

Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, board member Pastor Micheal Light expressed heartfelt appreciation to all team managers, players, and officials for their unwavering cooperation and commitment throughout the season. He described the league as a great success and a strong step forward for futsal development in the country.

Special acknowledgment was also given to the league’s main sponsor, Hantanga Management, for their invaluable support. Pastor Light highlighted their role in helping sustain and grow the sport through continued sponsorship, which he emphasized is vital for nurturing local talent.

“The purpose of this league is not only to promote futsal,” Pastor Light said, “but to create opportunities for our youth, steering them away from criminal influences and channeling their energy into positive sporting achievements.”

In his closing remarks, Pastor Light called on all team managers and stakeholders to maintain unity and discipline both during and outside the season, ensuring futsal continues to be a platform for growth, sportsmanship, and youth development.

While the full schedule for the next season is yet to be confirmed, it will depend on the conclusion of the top-four semi-final matches and outcomes from the upcoming SIFF Super Futsal League.
