President of the Malaita Provincial Youth Council, Phillip Subu, is proudly representing Solomon Islands at a specialized agricultural training program in Beijing, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences (CAAMS).
The program is part of a bilateral initiative supported by the Government of China, in partnership with the Solomon Islands Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. It aims to strengthen youth involvement in agriculture while promoting future cooperation in sustainable development and food security.
Mr. Subuโs participation marks a significant milestone for Malaitaโs youth, providing valuable exposure to agricultural innovation and mechanization techniques that can be adapted to support local farming communities.
