Solomon Post is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Caroline Kanoko as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective 26th June 2025. The appointment was confirmed by Mr. James Apaniai, Chairman of the Solomon Post Board, following a comprehensive and merit-based recruitment process. The official announcement of the appointment was made by Chairman Apaniai during the farewell and Welcome Program hosted by Solomon Post at the King Solomon Hotel on Saturday night.

Mrs. Kanoko brings over 20 years of leadership experience across the financial and public sectors, both in regulatory institutions and service delivery organizations. She is widely recognized for her expertise in financial inclusion, institutional reform, and digital innovation.
Originally from Choiseul Province, Mrs. Kanoko has served in various senior management roles at the Central Bank of Solomon Islands. She also has vast experience in advisory roles specifically in the private sector.
In 2021, Mrs. Kanoko joined Solomon Post as Director of Digital Financial Services, where she played a pivotal role in driving the expansion and modernization of financial services—both in Honiara and across provincial branches.
Mrs. Kanoko holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the South Pacific (USP). She is also an active member of several financial and governance boards within the Solomon Islands, contributing to national economic development.
“Caroline’s appointment represents both continuity and change,” said Chairman James Apaniai. “She brings in-depth institutional knowledge, innovative thinking, and the leadership qualities needed to guide Solomon Post forward. Her appointment also reflects our commitment to developing capable local leadership.”
As one of the few women to lead a state-owned enterprise in the Solomon Islands, her appointment supports broader regional efforts to promote gender diversity in leadership roles.

This announcement also reinforces Solomon Post’s vision:
“To be a modern, innovative, and customer-focused organisation delivering reliable and accessible postal and financial services across Solomon Islands.”
The Board of Solomon Post congratulates Mrs. Kanoko and looks forward to working closely with her as she leads the organisation into its next phase of growth, innovation, and service delivery.
