The Ministry of communication and aviation wishes to extend this year’s anniversary greetings to all Solomon Islanders both at home and abroad on the occasion of our 47th Independence anniversary of our nationhood.
The Ministry would also like to acknowledge, and reaffirm our sincere commitment and dedication to the partnership with our national leaders, churches leaders, chief’s, women leaders, communities, and youths for your support to our development programs to improve connectivity, accessibility and safety of the Telecommunication and aviation services to our Islands.
We are also indebted to members of the private sector, our development partners, non-government organizations (NGOs), civil societies and other stakeholders for their continuous support and contributions to the growth of Telecommunication and Aviation sectors in our country.
Finally, as we celebrate our national day, let us rise up and overcome our challenges as one people. Let us work hand in hand to ensuring Solomon Islands is a safe and liveable place for all Solomon Islanders, guests, visitors, and more importantly our future generations, by upholding the sovereign laws of our beloved nation, whilst looking forward for tangible development with unity, peace and prosperity.
