THE 2ND ATTORNEY-GENERAL’S CONFERENCE OF PARTIES 2025
“Enhancing Collaboration: A Proactive Approach”


The Attorney-General’s Chambers is pleased to announce its upcoming second Conference of Parties 2025, following its successful Inaugural Conference of Parties in September 2024.

Under the theme “Enhancing Collaboration: A Proactive Approach”, this year’s Conference will be hosted over two days, from the 18th to the 19th of August 2025, at the Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency Conference Centre, with senior officials participating from the ministries and their agencies, the provincial governments, and the State-Owned Enterprises.

With sessions on the decision-making processes, the legislative drafting processes, and on emerging legal issues such as artificial intelligence, data protection and privacy, this Conference aims to equip attendees with the necessary knowledge on giving drafting instructions and how to proactively identify and mitigate legal risks and liabilities facing the Solomon Islands Government, thereby reducing exposure to costly legal challenges and enhancing service delivery.

The Attorney-General’s Chambers acknowledges and appreciates the continuous support and partnership of the Solomon Islands Government and the Government of Australia through the Australia Solomon Islands Partnership in Justice Programme in hosting this Conference.
