This week marked a historic milestone as Fijian Prime Minister had the honor of joining Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to officially open Fiji’s first Resident Embassy in Jerusalem.
This moment is far more than the unveiling of a plaque, it is a symbol of the deepening bonds of friendship between Fiji and Israel, and the start of a new era of cooperation between our nations.
The inauguration ceremony of the Fiji Embassy reflects Fiji’s enduring commitment to friendship, dialogue, and constructive engagement with the global community. Our presence here in Jerusalem is a declaration of our shared desire to build bridges, not walls, between nations, cultures, and peoples.
This step will open new opportunities for collaboration, trade, and mutual understanding, strengthening our partnership for years to come.
