Honiara, 31 July 2025 – The National Disaster Management Office (NDMO), through the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC), has officially issued an ALL-CLEAR STATEMENT for the Solomon Islands as of 12:00 AM, Thursday 31st July 2025.

This follows the Tsunami Advisory Cancellation announced by the Solomon Islands Meteorological Service (SIMS) at 10:50 PM on Tuesday, 30 July 2025, after monitoring the effects of the magnitude 8.7 earthquake near Kamchatka, Russia.

The public is now advised that it is safe to move around, return home, and resume normal activities. However, minor sea level changes may still occur, and people are urged to continue exercising caution around coastal areas.
Any observed impacts should be reported to:

• RSIPF: 999
No further updates will be issued unless the situation changes.
