SIVA has a proud record of community support, having previously raised $2,000 AUD for glucometer machines to help fight diabetes in the Solomon Islands, while also backing basketball teams, the Red Cross, and other initiatives.

The Association said it was inspired by the stories and mission of the Malaita Christian Care Centre, which provides vital support for women and children in need. This latest contribution reflects the strong bonds of the Solomon Islands diaspora in Australia and their dedication to making a difference back home.
