Honiara, Solomon Islands – Project R.I.S.E has reached an exciting milestone with the recent arrival and unloading of a 40-foot container filled with essential building materials and books for the upcoming Su’u Library Renovation Project, set to begin in July.
This significant delivery marks a major step forward in efforts to revitalize the library and improve access to educational resources in the community. The project is a collaborative effort, made possible through the dedicated support of the Rotary Club of Honiara and the Rotaract Club of Paddington in Australia.
Members of the Rotaract Club of Honiara played a hands-on role in the success of this phase, showing up in force to unload the container. Their hard work and commitment reflect the club’s ongoing dedication to community service and youth empowerment.
As preparations continue for the renovation works, the organizers are inviting public support. Donations of any kind are welcome, and supporters can also contribute by purchasing items from the ongoing food basket fundraiser. All proceeds will go directly toward the renovation efforts.
