A total of eighteen RSIPF officers from the Naha police station have completed two days of basic Motorola VHF communication training.
The training was provided by Australian Defense Force (ADF) personnel under RSIPF and ADF cooperation.
The two-day Motorola VHF training session significantly enhanced the operational capabilities of our officers.
Officer Commanding Station (OCS) Naha Police Station Superintendent Leslie Kili said the training includes the function of radio and basic communications procedures.
Superintendent Kili emphasized the importance of effective communication in law enforcement, stating that mastering these skills will improve coordination during operations.
OCS Kili said the training also dwells on the instruction on how to handle VHF radios and effectively operate them during various duties, which has fostered a greater level of preparedness and efficiency.
“On behalf of the Provincial Police Commander, Honiara City, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the ADF for the invaluable training,” said Mr. Kili.
